Suzuki Indomobil Sales Indonesia officially launched the All New Satria F150 FI at the Sentul Circuit today (Feb 16 2016). Using new tag line "berani diadu" meaning bold contested show that Suzuki is very confident with their latest underbone motorcycle performance.
The concept of development of the All-New Satria F150 focused on four factors, namely engine performance, advanced electronic devices, strong and lightweight chassis and sleek dimensions. This made the most popular hyper underbone in Indonesia become more advanced for speed enthusiast.
All New Satria F150 FI equipped with 147.3 cc 4-stroke engine, water-cooled, DOHC, 4-valve, with 6 speed manual transmission. This brand new engine is capable of generating power up to 13.6 kW at 10,000 rpm and maximum torque of 13.8 Nm at 8500 rpm. This motorcycle only has an empty weight of 109kg which makes power to weight ratio is very huge for moped. According to the Suzuki's claim, this latest generation Suzuki Satria (Suzuki Raider or Belang in other countries) was able to reach a top speed of 142 km / h.
Suzuki Satria F150 FI equipped with some new features such as new LED headlamp that resembles Magneto's helmet from X-Man. The front brakes uses gigantic petal disc equipped with ByBre front caliper while the rear disk brake uses Tokico brand. The new Satria is also use full digital speedometer witch resembled a smartphone. There are also available empty spaces for luggage at center of bike.
Suzuki all new Satria FU 150 sold for 21.65 million rupiah for standard variants, while the high grade version sold for 21.95 million rupiah. Fair enough because Honda Sonic (Suzuki Satria closest competitor) was sold for 20,9 million rupiah. With more power and features, I think Suzuki Satria F150 FI is the best deal for sport moped in Indonesia.
