Its a special day isn't? being a single does not make Valentine day is special for me but today Astra Honda Motor Indonesia launched the All New Honda CBR150R at the Sentul International Circuit in Indonesia witch better than looking someone to be my Valentine (lol). The event coincides with the arrival of MotoGP rider Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa to Indonesia.
Still use a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC configuration, there is a small difference in the engine output of new CBR and the old one. The CBR150R uses a 149,5cc motor that produces about 12,6 KW at 10,500 RPM and 13 Nm at 7500 RPM while the all new CBR employs a brand new 149,2cc unit that belts out 12,6 KW at 9000 RPM and 13,7 Nm at 7000 RPM. The all new CBR150R having slightly more torque than the old one. The old CBR has peak power at hinger RPM while the all new CBR peaking in at lower RPM. Thanks to new bore and stroke configuration and CBR250R valve adoption. The all new CBR150R uses new Honda CB150R street fire engine witch has been launched back in August 2015.
Theres a huge difference in term of design between Honda CBR150R (2014) and the all new Honda CBR150R (2016). The old Honda CBR150R design resembled the new Honda CBR250R with dual keen eyes. This design looks classy with little sporty touch and still suitable for elder who wants a sports bike. The all new CBR150R uses the new much sportier design with sharper design. This made the bike more aggressive look than its predecessor. The headlamp uses dual keen LED headlamp witch popular among Honda Indonesia products such as Vario, CB150R and Sonic. The rear stoplamp and winker also uses LED witch more energy saving than conventional bulb. With new wide Y shaped cast wheels giving a more better handling for new CBR150R.
This bike sold starting from 32,5 million rupiahs to 33,3 million rupiahs for MotoGP edition. Available in 4 color combination such as Honda Racing Red, Revolution White, Nitro Black and MotoGP Edition with Repsol Honda racing team livery. With Honda's plant number 5 factory in Indonesia, will it be available overseas and 125cc engines for European countries?
